From childhood, I was mesmerised by the mystical allure of photography, even though our household lacked a camera. Instead, I immersed myself in family albums, finding solace in the captured memories. With no camera of my own, I turned to paints and brushes to express my creativity. My journey into photography was an adventure in itself. It led me to change countries, learn a new language, and pursue a college education in photography and creative media, all while raising my children. My early years as a family photographer for a renowned London-based chain honed my skills. Yet, my greatest decision came when I embarked on a journey as a mature student, simultaneously practicing and studying BA Photography. This blend of academic learning and real-world experience added depth and richness to my work. Today, every click of my camera is infused with the layers of my journey — from childhood wonder to international exploration, from professional practice to academic pursuit.
