Still Home

2025

Still Home explores an inherited family home in Bulgaria and the memories held within its rooms, objects, textures and light.

Moving between past, present and future, the project considers home not only as a physical place, but as a memory, a dream and a destination. Through domestic details and traces of family life, the work reflects on belonging, inheritance and the quiet emotional weight carried by familiar spaces.

Home becomes a colour, a texture, a smell, a particular kind of light. A soft feeling of safety, warmth and love, preserved in memory.

Artist Book

Developed as part of Still Home, the artist book brings together photographs, fragments of memory, domestic details and landscape imagery into a quiet sequence exploring home, belonging and preservation. The book extends the project beyond individual images, allowing the work to unfold through rhythm, touch, repetition and the movement between pages.

Still Home received 2nd Place in the BA Photography Books & Zines Prize at London Metropolitan University in 2025.
